I first became a mother in 2001, and have been working since 2003 with families in Early Intervention in Johnson County, Kansas.  I am a Speech-Language Pathologist and an Infant Family Specialist.  This blog is a way to gather current, science-based ideas about healthy family relationships, communication, and social-emotional development.
